Acceptance

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Random Question Generator website and its associated tools and services, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
• You have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
• You are at least 13 years of age, or at least 16 where a higher local threshold applies, or you are using the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
• You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, including a school, company, or institution, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Service

2. Description of Service

Random Question Generator is a free online tool that enables users to:

• Generate random quiz questions across 6 formats, including multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, short answer, matching, and ordering questions
• Configure question parameters including topic, difficulty level, and quantity
• Preview, edit, and customize generated question sets
• Export generated questions in multiple formats, including PDF, Word-compatible text output, JSON, CSV, HTML, and TXT
• Save draft question sets locally in the browser
• Share question sets via generated links

2.1 Free Access

The core features of the Service are currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce optional premium features in the future. Any such changes should be communicated clearly and should not silently remove the main free workflow.

2.2 No Registration Required

The Service does not require user registration or account creation to access core functionality in the current build.

2.3 Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates, outages, hosting issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Eligibility

3.1 Age Requirements

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. Users in the European Economic Area or in places with a higher local digital-consent threshold should be at least 16 years of age to use the Service without parental involvement.

If you are under the applicable age limit, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3.2 Educational Institution Use

Teachers, educators, and administrators who use the Service on behalf of students or educational institutions are responsible for ensuring that their use complies with applicable laws, policies, and contractual obligations, including COPPA, FERPA, GDPR, or local equivalents where relevant.

3.3 Geographic Restrictions

The Service may be available globally, but you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with the laws and regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for lawful purposes such as the following:

You may use question sets generated by the Service for commercial purposes, including paid courses, tutoring services, and corporate training materials, provided that such use complies with these Terms and applicable law. You may not resell, white-label, or redistribute the Service itself, nor use it to build a competing hosted product that reproduces the Service.

Intellectual property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, layout, code, databases, question templates, editorial structure, and associated branding, is owned by or licensed to Random Question Generator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Service itself without prior written permission.

"Random Question Generator" and related branding may be protected by trademark or similar rights. You may not use our branding in a way that implies endorsement or ownership without prior permission.

If you submit suggestions, feedback, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.

User content

7. User-Generated Content

The Service allows you to edit, customize, and export question content. With respect to any content you create, modify, or submit through the Service ("User Content"):

7.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for User Content you create or modify using the Service. You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to any material you incorporate into generated questions.
• Your User Content does not violate third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
• Your User Content does not contain harmful, offensive, or illegal material.

7.2 No Server Storage of User Content

In the current build, generated and edited questions are primarily stored locally in your own browser through local storage. The Service does not require account-based server storage for core question generation features. We are not responsible for the loss of locally stored content caused by clearing browser data, device issues, or unsupported environments.

7.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against use of the Service that violates these Terms, including restricting access, declining support, or cooperating with lawful investigations where required.

Third parties

8. Third-Party Services and Advertising

The current codebase also does not load Google Analytics scripts as of March 18, 2026. If analytics tools are enabled later, their use and data implications will be described in the Privacy Policy.

8.3 Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not control the content, availability, privacy practices, or terms of those third-party properties.

8.4 Hosting and Infrastructure

The Service depends on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers. While we aim to use reputable providers, we cannot guarantee the performance or availability of third-party systems.

Disclaimer

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Random Question Generator disclaims warranties including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

• Accuracy: Generated questions may contain errors or may not fit your curriculum, assessment standard, or intended use without review.
• Fitness for Purpose: We do not warrant that the Service is suitable for any particular educational, professional, legal, or compliance context.
• Uninterrupted Access: We do not warrant that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
• Security: We do not warrant that the Service is free from harmful components or third-party disruptions.
• Third-Party Content: We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of third-party content, including future advertisements or linked external sites.

Liability

10. Limitation of Liability

This includes, without limitation, damages for:

• Loss of data, profits, revenue, business opportunities, or goodwill
• Errors or inaccuracies in generated questions used in real assessments or publications
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of data or transmissions
• Statements or conduct of any third party on or connected to the Service
• Interruptions, outages, bugs, or cessation of the Service
• Malware, harmful code, or security events affecting connected systems or environments

10.1 Maximum Liability Cap

In jurisdictions that do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In all cases, our aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service shall not exceed USD $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

10.2 Essential Basis

You acknowledge that these liability limitations reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and are an essential basis of the bargain under which the Service is offered.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Random Question Generator and its operators, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• Any content you create, edit, export, or distribute using the Service
• Your violation of applicable law or regulation

Termination

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including suspected violation of these Terms, harmful conduct, law-enforcement requests, abuse of infrastructure, or discontinuation of the Service.

12.2 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service at any time. Because core functionality does not require account registration, discontinuing use of the Site generally ends your use of the Service.

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification, will survive.

Governing law

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

13.2 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal dispute resolution, you agree to first contact us at contact@aigotowork.work and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make good-faith efforts to respond within 30 days of receiving notice.

13.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

13.4 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Random Question Generator regarding your use of the Service.

13.5 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Changes

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we may:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Post the revised Terms on this page
• Provide a more prominent notice for material changes when appropriate

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
